Tickly is built with privacy in mind. Your habits and check-ins belong to you. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers.

Data collection

Tickly collects zero personal data. The app:

Data storage and syncing

Local storage

All your habits and daily check-ins are stored locally on your device using SwiftData (encrypted by iOS).

iCloud sync

Tickly uses Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) to sync your data across your own devices (iPhone, iPad). This data is stored in your private iCloud database. We (the developers) cannot access it. It is encrypted by Apple in transit and at rest. You can disable sync at any time in your device's iCloud settings.

Children's privacy

Tickly is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and communicate the change in the app or on the App Store listing.
